Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Wooster, OH & Canal Fulton, OH

Job Type: Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Considered)

Role Overview

Provide pediatric speech and language therapy across clinic-based and occasional school-based settings. In this role, you will evaluate and treat children (ages 18 months to 12 years) with diverse communication needs while collaborating alongside occupational and physical therapists.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat expressive/receptive language delays, apraxia, articulation and phonological disorders, stuttering, and social communication challenges.
• Support children utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.
• Manage an average patient volume of 10-13 individual client sessions per week (30-45 minute sessions), with opportunities for group sessions and co-treatment with OT/PT.
• Educate and guide families on strategies to support ongoing communication development at home.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical session documentation.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday flexible schedule within clinic operating hours (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
• Requires at least two evenings per week working until 6:00 PM.
• No weekend, night, or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active (or eligible for conditional/active) Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist License.
• Open to all experience levels; new graduates seeking a Clinical Fellowship (CF) placement are welcome.
• Pediatric care experience in any capacity is preferred.
