Senior Contracts Administrator

We’re seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator who brings deep contracting expertise, strong judgment, and a collaborative mindset to support a wide range of government programs.In this role, you’ll drive contract strategy, manage complex government agreements and serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external partners. You will operate with autonomy, contribute to process improvement, and help shape the evolving contracts function at MTSI.U.S. Citizenship is required.What You’ll Do• Manage the full lifecycle of government contracts, including drafting, negotiating, modifying, and executing agreements• Ensure full compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other federal requirements• Evaluate proposals, analyze vendor capabilities, and support competitive assessments• Negotiate terms and conditions to achieve favorable and compliant outcomes• Maintain accurate contract documentation and prepare status updates for stakeholders• Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure contract objectives are met• Coordinate with internal teams, government partners, and contractors to resolve contract matters• Monitor budgets, funding profiles, and financial alignment across contracts• Use best practices and business insights to strengthen processes and services• Lead cross-functional activities, guiding analysts and professionals supporting contract actions• Contribute to department strategies and participate in internal and external committees or development groups (NCMA, etc.)• Identify and communicate opportunities to expand business areas or improve offeringsWhat You'll Bring• Extensive knowledge of contract law, FAR/DFARS, and government contracting principles• Proficiency with contract management tools and software• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships• Deep attention to detail and strong organizational habits• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced or complex environments• Experience with process improvement and cross-functional collaborationHow You'll WorkAll MTSI employees excel in:• Teamwork and collaboration• Technical and functional expertise• Entrepreneurial thinking and innovation• Clear, effective communication• Customer focus and relationship-buildingYou’ll succeed especially well in this role if you:• Work independently with confidence and sound judgment• Model MTSI’s core values and support a positive team culture• Enjoy leading initiatives and helping others succeed• Thrive in dynamic environments and approach challenges proactivelyQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Public Administration, or related field• Master’s degree or CPCM certification is preferred.• 5 or more years of government contract administration experience• Solid understanding of FAR, DFARS, OTAs, CSOs, and other federal contracting guidelinesTravelLess than 10%Security ClearanceThis position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.Working Conditions• Primarily remote office-based with regular travel (up to 10%) to company locations across the United States. CompensationThe pay range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
