- Coordinate with regulatory agencies regarding permitting requirements and permit application preparation.
- Assist with project management, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, surveyors, and support staff to deliver successful projects.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and technical expertise.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable engineering standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida or the ability to obtain Florida licensure through reciprocity.
- 8-10 years of civil engineering experience, preferably within the public infrastructure sector.
- Strong experience in stormwater management, drainage design, hydrology, and hydraulics.
- Understanding of water/wastewater systems and transportation engineering principles.
- Experience working with permitting agencies and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft 365 preferred.
- Experience with ICPR or other hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
