Shift Supervisor

Role Description This full-time, on-site Shift Supervisor role is based at Polyethylene Containers, Inc. in El Dorado, AR. The Shift Supervisor oversees daily production operations, ensuring that manufacturing schedules are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating team member assignments, monitoring equipment performance, resolving production issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and company policies. The role also involves training and coaching team members, maintaining accurate shift reports, collaborating with maintenance and quality teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Shift Supervisor works closely with leadership to communicate shift performance, implement process changes, and uphold customer-focused service. Qualifications Experience in supervising manufacturing or industrial operations, preferably in injection molding, plastics or packaging. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams, delegate tasks, and provide coaching and feedback. Knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and basic quality control practices. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with employees, management, and cross-functional teams. Ability to analyze production data, identify issues, and implement practical solutions. Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities during a shift. Comfort with using basic computer systems for reporting, scheduling, and documentation. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or supervisory training is a plus.
