Role and Responsibilities:

1. Performs the duties of a paying and receiving teller: cashes checks; accepts deposits and loan payments; processes change orders; accepts safety deposit rent; sells Official Checks; completes CTRs as needed; takes check orders; takes stop payments and assists customers with safe deposit box. Scans work.
2. Balances teller totals and cash items as needed.
3. Works the weekly Bad Address Report.
4. Opens Card Machine on a daily basis, adds cards, and balances cards at the end of the day.
5. Assists customers with Safety Deposit Box entry, rental, surrender and other needs.
6. Answers phone and assists customer with accounts.
7. Seeks expanded deposit and loan relationships with customers and sets referral goals.
8. Assists with branch opening/closing procedures.
9. Rotates as vault teller and works drive-in window as needed.
10. Goes to post office and courthouse daily as requested.
11. Employee has prompt and regular attendance.
12. Has helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
13. Strives to improve the efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.
14. Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
15. Completes all training assigned by HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis.
16. Follows IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Tact and public relations expertise
• Ability to work well with others

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
