We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation and warehouse operations. This is a hybrid warehouse/office position . You will handle data entry, driver check-ins and check-outs, load tracking, delivery coordination, and other logistics activities. - Enter and update customer and load information
- Track pickups and deliveries
- Monitor shipments and confirm on-time delivery
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and account managers
- Take driver check calls and verify load information
- Update customers on shipment status
- Investigate overages, shortages, and damaged products
- Complete required documentation
- Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments
- Help coordinate transportation and routing
- Provide drivers with directions and delivery instructions
- Identify and communicate issues with loads
- 1+ year of logistics experience
- General knowledge of the transportation industry
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in both an office and warehouse environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Ability to multitask and handle changing priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with reports and business correspondence
- Experience with transportation, dispatch, or warehouse operations
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills
