Retail Store Manager We are currently looking for the right Retail Store Manager to join our Team! $14.70 to $22.40 per hour In addition to the hourly rate, Retail Store Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus, contributing to a major portion of total yearly income. Position Summary We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Manager is accountable for day‑to‑day operations, promoting a positive and productive environment, leading, coaching, and developing store employees, recruiting and retaining talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations and satisfaction. The Manager drives goal setting based on financial analysis and adjusts operations to meet targets. The Manager implements the company’s asset protection program through inventory control, policy compliance, and security of customer loans. Using internal and external marketing tools, the Manager promotes the business and targets new customer acquisition. Employees work with a variety of products, including jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, and firearms in FFL locations. This position offers a competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance and reports to the district’s District Manager. Responsibilities Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers professionally and resolving issues rapidly. Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent through prescribed channels. Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure procedures protect assets. Ensure inventory control, property safety, documentation, and securing customer loans. Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and enterprise reporting. Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through goal setting. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to preserve loan integrity. Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested. Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand mission and profit objectives. Keep product knowledge up‑to‑date. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting). Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification. May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage. Minimum age: 18 years old. High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Ability to work in multiple locations as needed. Willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Store Managers work 45+ hours per week; hours are based on business needs. Computer literate: operate POS systems and common office machines. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical skills. Cash handling experience required. Can work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent work ethic and strong business sense. Bilingual applicants encouraged. Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Store Managers receive commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit. Detailed information is furnished during the interview.
