Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Cardiology Clinic (CV)

REGISTERED NURSE (RN) – Cardiology Clinic (Cardiac Specialties) Location: Park Ridge, IL Part Time; 48 hours a pay period; 8 hour shifts. Cover current hours of 0730-1700 M-F. Where You Will Work In the Coordinated Clinic you will be responsible for treating an outpatient population with a variety of cardiac specialties. The specialties include Heart Failure, Lipid, Chest Pain, Cardiac Oncology, Watchman/Afib, Structural Heart, Adult Congenital, and Advanced Heart Failure. Duties include drawing labs, starting IVs, administering medication and monitoring for response, administering EKGs, and patient education. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Illinois Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association At least 2 years of nursing experience on cardiac telemetry, ICU, or ED About This Location Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is a 686 bed, non-profit, acute care, teaching hospital, level 1 trauma center and level 3 perinatal center.
