Manufacturing Engineer 2 Location: Goleta, CA Duration: 6+ months Rate: Up to $50.00/hr BOE MUST BE US Citizen Must have BS Degree On-site only Responsibilities Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and related techniques Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling Arrange machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout Design sequence of operations and specify procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment, influencing product performance Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions; incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency; investigate and initiate corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques Ensure processes and procedures are compliant with regulations Qualifications Minimum BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering 2+ years of mechanical/electrical oriented manufacturing engineering experience, ideally in the aerospace industry Experience solving technical manufacturing engineering problems and leading project teams Completed a significant manufacturing engineering project where a team was led to accomplish the tasks Strong problem‑solving experience; green belt or black belt certification preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
