Mechanical Engineer

Overview A leading advanced technology manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to support the design, development, and analysis of mechanical systems and equipment in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative engineering solutions, improve existing designs, and support product development activities. Key Responsibilities Design and analyze mechanical systems, components, equipment, and packaging solutions. Conduct feasibility studies, engineering calculations, and testing for new and modified product designs. Develop and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using NX CAD software. Support prototype development, design validation, and testing activities. Collaborate with drafting and engineering support teams to generate detailed design documentation and packaging specifications. Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives related to product design and manufacturing processes. Communicate technical information effectively with internal stakeholders and project teams. Maintain project documentation and engineering records in accordance with company standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Experience in mechanical design and product development within a manufacturing or high-tech environment. Strong proficiency with NX CAD software and 3D modeling/design tools. Knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication methods, and engineering principles. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the semiconductor or advanced technology industry. Experience supporting prototype development, testing, and design validation activities. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams within fast-paced environments.
