Billing Specialist

Kforce has a client in Augusta, GA that is seeking a Billing Specialist. Responsibilities:
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve billing and accounts receivable inquiries
- Support customers and internal stakeholders with invoice discrepancies and research-related issues
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances
- Investigate and analyze billing issues, providing timely resolution
- Process and apply necessary billing adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of billing activities
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or accounting
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, reporting)
- Experience working with PDFs and document editing tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-visibility role
