Bankruptcy Paralegal

Responsibilities Prepare, review, and electronically file legal documents in Bankruptcy Courts, Federal District Courts, and state courts. Draft and format motions, notices, petitions, and related filings using Bluebook citation and accurate case law referencing. Coordinate multi-jurisdictional filings, including filings in states where we do not have local counsel. Create and maintain form templates for frequently used legal filings. Professionally and clearly communicate via email with internal legal teams, court clerks, and judges’ chambers regarding filings, hearings, and procedural matters. Maintain accurate records of all filings and confirmations; update internal databases and case management systems accordingly. Provide litigation support and administrative assistance to attorneys and senior paralegals as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of paralegal experience, with a focus on bankruptcy and/or federal litigation. Direct experience with court filing systems such as CM/ECF, PACER, and applicable state filing portals. Strong working knowledge of Bluebook citation format and legal document preparation.
