About the Position

Job Title: RN Surgery Profession: RN Surgery Specialty: RN Surgery Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 08:00 AM - 05:00 AM Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience required License: Current and valid state RN License required Certifications: Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current. Current PALS (AHA) certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current. Must-Have: Minimum of two years of previous Perioperative experience required. Experience in the surgery room as an RN OR Circulator required. Experience in PACU or Recovery is not suitable for this position. On-call availability is required. Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) is preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Description: This role requires experience in the surgery room. Experience in PACU or Recovery is not acceptable. Candidates must be on-call as needed. Current and valid state RN License is mandatory. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be obtained and maintained as required. A minimum of two years in a Perioperative setting is essential. CNOR certification is preferred for candidates. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
