Job Coach Position

Euclid Schools is in need of a Job Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at Euclid High School. The Job Coach supports students with disabilities participating in the Job Training Coordinator (JTC) Program by providing supervision, instruction, and assistance in community-based work settings and career environments. The Job Coach assists students in developing job-related skills, workplace behaviors, and independence necessary for successful employment. Job coaching utilizes instructional strategies designed to train employees with disabilities in authentic workplace settings while promoting integration with coworkers and supervisors. Support is provided using the least intrusive methods possible and emphasizes the development of natural supports within the workplace. The Job Coach works collaboratively with the JTC Teacher, Secondary Transition Coordinator, employers, families, and school personnel to support students in developing skills necessary for successful transition from school to employment and adult life. As students demonstrate competence and independence, direct support is gradually faded while maintaining periodic monitoring and communication.

Anticipated Start Date: August 12, 2026 Work Year: August - May (187 days) Salary: $30,000 - $36,000

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students with disabilities.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with students, staff, employers, and families.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meets all mandated health requirements.
• Free record of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
• Compliance with drug-free workplace rules and Board policies.
• Ohio State Board of Education (SBOE) Educational Aid Permit
• Must be able to successfully pass student transportation training requirements and drive a district van when required.
• Valid driver's license and insurability by the district's insurance carrier.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with disabilities in educational or vocational settings.
• Knowledge of transition services, supported employment, or community-based instruction.
• Experience working with community employers or workforce programs.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and student performance data.
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record and be punctual.

Required Testing Certification: None

Continuing Education/Training: Public School Works annually as directed Fingerprint/Background Clearance

Evaluation: Job performance is evaluated according to policy provisions and contractual agreements adopted by the Euclid City School District Board of Education.
