Senior Product Manager

Our client is a leading legal technology and information & analytics company that develops innovative software, data, research, and AI-powered solutions used by legal and business professionals.

They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own product outcomes end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap development through launch and continuous improvement. This role will focus on developing products that balance customer value, commercial impact, and technical feasibility while leveraging emerging technologies and AI.

Location: Raleigh, NC — Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Contract: 6 months, with potential for extension and conversion to FTE

Pay Rate: 68/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
• Develop data-driven product strategies and roadmaps based on customer insights, competitive analysis, and industry trends.
• Build business cases and investment proposals aligned with strategic and financial goals.
• Evaluate emerging technology and AI trends and translate them into actionable product direction.
• Engage directly with customers to understand workflows, challenges, and business needs.
• Own planning and execution of complex, cross-functional product initiatives.
• Establish KPIs and OKRs and use analytics to measure product performance and outcomes.
• Drive experimentation and hypothesis-driven product development.
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term product strategy and investment.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, UX, Marketing, Sales, and Legal teams.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, customer-focused product value.
• Influence senior stakeholders through data, clear communication, and compelling presentations.
• Ensure products meet high standards for usability, accessibility, design quality, and scalability.
• Support and mentor other Product Managers and contribute to a strong product organization.

What We're Looking For

• 6–8+ years of product management experience managing complex products or platforms end-to-end.
• Proven experience taking products from concept through launch and delivering measurable business impact.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI-driven product features — required.
• Experience working in complex, matrixed, and highly cross-functional environments.
• Strong product ownership mindset with accountability for strategy, execution, and results.
• Excellent commercial judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead through influence and navigate ambiguity effectively.
• Strong understanding of how technology and AI can create customer and commercial value.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
