The position allows for remote work while serving clients through an outpatient model. You will be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and shared learning. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and while some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to accommodate patient needs, we strive to maintain a balanced work-life dynamic. The practice offers a professional yet warm atmosphere where therapists are encouraged to share ideas and participate in ongoing training.

  • Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments that uncover patients' unique backgrounds and needs, ensuring the development of tailored treatment plans.

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to effectively address various mental health concerns while fostering resilience and well-being among clients.

  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring holistic treatment approaches.

  • Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.

  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment processes, and community resources available to assist in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work extensively with a diverse patient population that reflects the multicultural tapestry of our community. This includes serving ethnic and cultural minorities, as well as LGBTQ+ individuals, who may face unique challenges in accessing mental health care. Your role will entail understanding and addressing the complexities of their experiences, thereby supporting their mental health needs in a culturally competent manner.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado is required.

  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competence in therapy delivery.

  • Experience in providing individual and group therapy through culturally responsive and inclusive methods is essential.
  • \n
  • Proficient crisis intervention skills with the ability to navigate challenging situations calmly and effectively.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals.

  • Expertise in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

  • A strong commitment to confidentiality, ethical guidelines, and maintaining professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
