Senior Manager Export ComplianceThe Senior Manager Export Compliance is responsible for developing and managing compliance processes, procedures, and system interfaces for a large multi-national company, while ensuring compliance with U.S. export laws and regulations. This is a hybrid position based near Irvine, CA.ExpectationsOperationalize export regulations through development and management of systemic controlsDevelop and maintain Compliance Tables and data in ERP and WMS systemsManage day-to-day operations of the Global Trade Compliance Center of ExcellenceCoordinate operations for export shipments; ECCN classification, documentation, and AES filingDevelop and maintain SOPs to ensure compliance with export laws and regulationsConduct internal and external audits and develop corrective action plansIdentify and report trade compliance violations and lead investigationsMonitor regulatory changes and assess business impact and drive strategyBuild trade metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvementLead and develop the Global Trade Compliance team building best in class practicesEssentialsBachelor's degree required10+ years of experience in export controls, compliance, and trade operations3+ years of leadership experienceStrong knowledge of BIS, EAR/ITAR, OFAC - encryption & category 5 a plusExperience with export licensing requirementsExperience working with IT teams on SAP/GTS configuration and implementationTechnical acumen and data analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills across all levels
