MS/Tele RN

RNs need to have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy as well as placing IVs as this is a required skill for any RN at Unity. Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8-10 if staff calls in). PCT's on all units do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG's and any sort of activity of daily living. Years of experience required: 1. First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekends required: Every other week. Certifications required: BLS. Is on-call required? No. Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units? Yes. Open to accommodating block schedule? They will try but not guaranteed. Locals accepted: No. Local radius rule: 75 miles. Pending License accepted: No. RTO restrictions: We will not allow more than 1 week RTO in a contract. Special requirements: MS/Tele, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions. Patient diagnosis: colon cancer, intestinal obstructions, breast cancer, morbid obesity, cholecystitis, appendicitis. Epic preferred scrub color: any combo of navy and white. Charting: Epic.
