Registered Nurse
This position consists of (2) 8-hour shifts and (2) 12-hour shifts, along with (1) 12-hour weekend shift every 5-6 weeks. An 8-hour weekend call is required every 2 months. Shifts can be picked up as needed.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team is essential, as well as participating in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensuring implementation of solutions.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop effective nursing care plans.
Implement and evaluate nursing care to ensure quality patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare staff.
Delegate nursing tasks and supervise nursing staff as required.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
