Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit Lewiston, ME. This position provides intensive care nursing services for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients with complex conditions, including sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, trauma, neurological injuries, and post-surgical complications. The role requires trauma and neurological experience and includes a 12-hour night schedule.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; NIH certification; minimum of 2 years of intensive care nursing experience; trauma and neurological experience.
• Schedule: Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 36 hours per week, including three weekends per schedule block.
• Additional Information: Provides care for patients with sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, trauma, neurological or brain injuries, complicated surgeries, stroke, and encephalopathy. Patient assignments are based on acuity and may range from 1:1 to 1:3. No call requirement. Navy blue scrubs are required.
