Special Requirements The position requires a Drug Screening be passed prior to being hired. The position requires a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired. The position requires Medical Clearance prior to being hired. The position requires Psychological Evaluation clearance prior to being hired. Candidates must have a current California POST Basic or Specialized Certificate which meets Penal Codes 830.1, 830.2 or 830.3 or equivalent in order to be considered. Candidates who are interested in the Special Agent position must meet the minimum qualifications in order to be considered. Candidates who do not meet the minimum qualifications and are not in the process of obtaining list eligibility will not be considered. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications must have list, reinstatement or lateral transfer eligibility .
