Process Engineer II

As a subject matter expert, you will provide technical leadership to junior process engineers, fostering a collaborative and learning‑oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Provide swing shift production support for Thin Film & Packaging manufacturing areas to achieve output and yield goals. Typical start time is 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm Address product and process quality issues, provide guidance to production operators, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Perform engineering tests, conduct process improvement projects, and prepare technical written reports. Troubleshoot equipment issues, provide guidance to maintenance techs, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance as needed. Work with production supervisors and leads, reduce bottlenecks in the line, and provide back‑up production coverage as needed. Ensure work instructions, drawings, logs, and records are accurate and up to date. Train and certify production operators using a hands‑on training approach. MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance. WE VALUE Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or materials science. Experience with a variety of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements. Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as automation, semiconductor manufacturing, machining, and mechanical assembly. Ability to work effectively with a broad team of people and outside contractors. The annual base salary range for this position is $92,920 - $116,150.
