Job Type: Part-Time

The Bier Haus , an authentic German and Bavarian-inspired restaurant in the heart of downtown Coeur d'Alene, is looking for a dependable and hardworking Busser/Dishwasher to join our team. (BierHaus)

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and helping create an excellent experience for our guests. Restaurant experience is helpful but not required-we are happy to train the right person!

This position supports both our front-of-house and kitchen teams. Responsibilities include:

• Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables quickly between guests

• Keep the dining room, outdoor Biergarten, and service areas clean and organized

• Assist servers with clearing dishes and maintaining tables throughout service

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment

• Operate the commercial dishwasher safely and efficiently

• Return clean dishes and equipment to the appropriate areas

• Keep the dishwashing station clean, organized, and stocked

• Empty trash and recycling and maintain clean waste areas

• Sweep and mop floors as needed

• Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties

• Help restock supplies for the kitchen and service staff

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

• Jump in and help other team members when needed

• Perform other restaurant duties as assigned

• Dependable and punctual

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Willingness to work hard and stay productive throughout the shift

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment

• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation

• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team

• Restaurant experience is preferred but not required

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

This is an active position. Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods

• Frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Work around hot equipment, water, cleaning products, and wet or slippery surfaces

• Perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, washing, carrying, and clearing dishes
