THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

The Production Mechanic B is the foundation of every Coastal Pools crew — a developing builder who shows up, works safely, and learns the trade hands-on across new construction, renovation, and liner work.

This is where great builders start. You’ll perform supervised construction tasks, build the technical skills that define a Mechanic A, and work toward operating equipment, reading plans, and plumbing simple systems on your own. Reviews are conducted twice a year so you always know exactly what to build next.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Build & Learn

• Perform pool-construction and renovation tasks under the direction of a Mechanic A, Crew Lead, or Superintendent.
• Build core skills across new construction, renovation, and liner work toward independent capability.

Operate & Document

• Log time accurately to the correct job and task each day in JobTread.
• Maintain a DOT physical and a valid driver’s license; drive company vehicles safely.

Show Up & Own It

• Bring initiative, a positive attitude, and reliable on-time attendance every day.
• Welcome coaching and apply it; take ownership of your learning curve.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Hold or be able to attain a valid DOT medical card.
