A well-established skilled nursing facility in the North Miami area is seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead facility operations, support department leaders, and maintain a strong resident-focused culture.

This is an opportunity for an administrator who knows how to balance operations, staff leadership, regulatory readiness, quality outcomes, and financial performance while building trust with residents, families, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for skilled nursing facility operations
• Lead and support department heads and facility staff
• Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal long-term care requirements
• Oversee operational, financial, staffing, and quality performance
• Promote survey readiness and support corrective action initiatives when needed
• Partner with clinical leadership to maintain high standards of resident care and service
• Monitor census, staffing, expenses, and overall facility performance
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, physicians, vendors, and community partners
• Recruit, develop, and retain effective department leaders
• Create an accountable, professional, and resident-centered workplace culture

Qualifications

• Active Florida Nursing Home Administrator license required
• Previous Nursing Home Administrator experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Strong knowledge of SNF operations and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building ability
• Experience managing facility performance, staffing, budgets, and operational goals
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
