Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Certified Surgical Tech

Surgical Technologist Surgical Services
Evening shifts, 12 hours, starting at 9 AM or 11 AM. Every 3rd weekend as needed; every other holiday. Call required once per schedule. May float to other facilities if needed.
Contract length: 15 weeks, guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
3+ years of inpatient surgery experience
Level 1 trauma experience required
Must have NBSTSA certification, no other certification is accepted
BLS certification
Competency in at least 5 of the surgical services listed (general, gynecology, urology, oral, otolaryngology, bariatric, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, spine)
Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field
Ensure proper instrumentation and supplies are available for procedures
Collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean operating environment
Monitor patient safety and communicate effectively with team members
