As a Security Officer Entry Screening Driver in Smyrna, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will help manage entry and exit activity, monitor assigned areas, and support smooth site operations through strong communication and customer service. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, review visitor and/or contractor access, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Support gatehouse and/or access control operations by tracking inbound and outbound traffic, communicating with site contacts, and following post orders related to deliveries, pickups, and visitor processing.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
