SALES ENGINEER
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a driven Sales Engineer in Smyrna, GA. In a Sales Engineer job you’ll be responsible for:

Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

Conducting technical presentations, product demonstrations, and advising clients on solutions.

Directing sales forecasting, reviewing market analyses, pricing schedules, and sales statistics.
-
Collaborating with manufacturing, HQ, and internal teams to meet customer requirements and book orders.
-
Building strong relationships with clients and prospects through regular meetings and trade events.
-
Monitoring competitor activities and providing input for product research and development.
What you’ll need:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college/university, OR 5+ years of related technical sales experience (or equivalent combination).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and customer service skills.

Excellent oral and written communication abilities with strong presentation skills.

Practical math skills (calculating discounts, commissions, percentages, basic algebra/geometry).
-
Tech-savvy with CRM (Salesforce), MS Office/G Suite, and order processing systems.
-
Willingness to travel >60% for client visits and industry events.
