Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) nurse position located in Michigan City. The role involves providing specialized care in a cardiac and vascular intervention unit, focusing on EKG testing, sedation, circulation competency, and patient monitoring. The position requires a dedicated professional to support the unit's high standards and operational efficiency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shifts with variable start times, 8 hours per shift, totaling approximately 40 hours per week, on days Monday through Friday.
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting; experience with EKG testing, sedation, and circulation competency.
• Preferred Qualifications: Recording competency and familiarity with equipment such as Xper, Philips, Balloon Pump, and Impella.
• Additional Information: No float rotation required. The work environment includes cardiology, vascular, and interventional radiology patients. Candidates should be self-motivated team players and adhere to hospital scrub dress code (light blue scrubs). The first day onboarding will be scheduled following completion of any required education modules.
