Lead System Integration Engineer, Military Vehicle Prototyping

Trillium Professional has a long term opportunity in Sterling Heights, MI for an Associate Engineer. Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role -Lead Developmental projects as the System Integration Engineer for build, verification and delivery of military vehicles to the customer. -Plan the physical and functional integration activity by developing and maintaining Prototype/Mockup vehicle build schedules. -Develop, maintain and execute prototypefabrication and build plans. -Assist in prototype hardware procurement. -Initiate shop work orders. -Coordinate SSE assistance as necessary to support prototype shop activities. -Act as primary interface between sub-system engineering and the prototype buildshop. -Responsible for vehicle level system integration, verification, and problem reporting/resolution. -Develop and foster a cohesive build team environment between prototype shop mechanics, sub system engineers, and system engineers. -Direct mechanics in the assembly of subsystemsonto military vehicles using applicable models and drawings. -Monitor the Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) maturity and Engineering Release Plan execution. -Track material receipts and address “late to need” issues. -Generate Engineering Problem Reports to document fabrication, installation, and/or functionality issues discovered during the prototype build. Qualifications Sought -Bachelor’s degree in engineering required. -Experience with Teamcenter, Vis Mockup and Oracle Systems preferred. -Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
