Diesel Mechanic — Midland, TXPoff's Power Solutions operates out of Midland, Texas—the heart of the Permian Basin—providing fleet maintenance, mobile repair, and mechanical services to oilfield operators, commercial fleets, and local equipment owners. We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.What You'll DoPerform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and heavy equipmentDiagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, steering, suspension, and brake systemsTroubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and sound troubleshooting practicesComplete inspections and identify additional maintenance needsSupport field service calls when neededKeep accurate repair records and communicate findings with supervisors and customersMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaWho You AreExperience as a diesel, heavy equipment, fleet, or oilfield mechanicStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with hydraulic and electrical systemsAbility to work independently and efficientlyReliable and dependable with a strong work ethicWelding experience is a plus but not requiredThe Work EnvironmentOur Midland shop services a wide variety of fleet vehicles and oilfield equipment, providing steady work and opportunities to expand your skills.
