Associate Wage & Hour Attorney National Class & Collective Action Practice – Kingston, NY With more than 25 years of advocating for workers nationwide, Getman, Sweeney & Dunn seeks a dedicated attorney to join us in continuing to force positive change across industries through high-impact class and collective action cases, law reform cases, and mass arbitrations. What Makes This Role Exceptional Collaborate on dedicated case teams (lead attorney, paralegal, data analyst) Supported growth in learning to navigate complex wage and hour litigation from start to finish Work in an ego-free culture The opportunity to live a balanced life while doing good What You Bring An unwavering commitment to workers’ rights Strong written and oral advocacy Exceptional ability to navigate complex substantive law and litigation procedures Superior interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and clients Availability for occasional case-related travel Bar admission in NY or another state (or pending) Fluency in Spanish or another language is highly desirable, but not required What It Looks Like Assist in all aspects of civil litigation Interview clients and potential witnesses Conduct legal research Draft pleadings, discovery demands and responses, and motions Review and analyze discovery responses and production Take and defend depositions Prepare for and participate in trial Develop and maintain client relationships Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals and data scientists to drive cases forward Compensation We believe excellent litigation work should be sustainable, and our compensation structure reflects a commitment to high-impact practice without high-burnout expectations.
