Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Telemetry Cardiac Unit – Alabama

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Southeast Alabama

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Flexible 36 or 48-hour work weeks available; block scheduling permitted; every other weekend required; 1:6 to 1:7 patient ratio; 16 hours non-billable orientation

Highlights:

• Medical/Telemetry Cardiac Unit with 42-bed capacity and daily census of 39-42 patients
• Cardiac drip experience required including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Epic charting system preferred
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

• Block scheduling available with flexible shift options

Requirements:

• Active Alabama RN license or Compact license in good standing required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Cardiac drip titration experience required (cardizem, tridil, amiodarone)
• BLS and NIH certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and remote telemetry monitoring
• Proficiency in blood product administration, central line management, IV therapy, and PICC line management
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must reside at least 90 miles from facility location
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• All compliance documentation due one week prior to start date
