Product Support Engineer

DPP is seeking a Product Support Engineer for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense industry.

Work Location: Onsite in Englewood CO
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 Contract
Work Authorization: US Citizen; must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance

Responsibilities:

As a Product Support Engineer you will be learning to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our product and system prototypes.
Youll assist with assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems.
Your technical responsibilities include the support of product installation testing error/defect detection and correction and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators.

Required Qualifications:

Exposure to wireless networks tactical communications and personal computers.
Communication and customer interface skills.
Familiarity with system level maintenance of networks and communications systems.
Bachelors degree in a related field of study or typically 0-2 or more years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics.
Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors.
Ability to read schematics use service manuals follow test procedures and use logical trouble shooting techniques.
Experience with RF vehicle installation and maintenance procedures.
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry Government or US Military.
Leadership experience in the military or civilian organization.
