Harbour Club — Sunset Harbour, Miami Beach Harbour Club is a private members club in the heart of Sunset Harbour, Miami Beach, bringing together elevated dining, hospitality, culture, nightlife, and community under one roof. Since opening in October 2024, Harbour Club has established itself as a distinctive destination for members and guests, featuring two restaurants—one open to the public and one exclusively for members—as well as a members lounge that hosts events, nightlife, cultural programming, and intimate gatherings. We are seeking an experienced, highly charismatic General Manager to lead the continued growth and evolution of Harbour Club. This is a highly visible leadership position for a hospitality professional who understands that a great members club is about far more than food and beverage—it is about creating a sense of place, community, service, and belonging. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable on the floor with members and guests, leading and developing a team, working alongside culinary and creative leadership, overseeing financial performance, and setting the overall tone for an exceptional club culture. The Role The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the operational performance, hospitality standards, team culture, financial results, and member experience across Harbour Club’s restaurants, lounge, events, nightlife, and programming. Working closely with ownership and senior leadership, the General Manager will build upon the foundation already established at Harbour Club and help define its next chapter—strengthening operations, elevating the member experience, developing the team, and ensuring the club continues to be one of Miami’s most compelling hospitality destinations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong commercial instincts, exceptional attention to detail, and an authentic passion for hospitality and relationship building. Key Responsibilities Club Operations & Guest Experience Oversee all daily operations of Harbour Club, including both restaurants, the members lounge, events, nightlife, and programming. Maintain and continually elevate standards of service, hospitality, presentation, cleanliness, and operational excellence. Create a seamless experience across the club while ensuring each venue maintains its own identity and purpose. Foster an environment where members and guests feel recognized, valued, and genuinely welcomed. Be highly visible and engaged on the floor, particularly during peak service, events, and important member moments. Anticipate member needs and proactively address concerns, feedback, and service opportunities. Build strong, lasting relationships with members and serve as a trusted ambassador for Harbour Club. Continuously evaluate the guest journey and identify opportunities to improve the overall club experience. Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing hospitality team across all areas of the club. Build a service culture rooted in warmth, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail. Establish clear standards, expectations, and performance metrics for all departments. Partner with department heads to ensure strong communication and collaboration across culinary, service, events, membership, and operations. Recruit, train, develop, and retain exceptional hospitality talent. Develop managers and future leaders through consistent coaching, mentorship, and performance management. Ensure appropriate staffing levels, scheduling, and labor practices across all areas of the club. Create a positive, collaborative workplace culture that reflects the values and personality of Harbour Club. Food & Beverage Oversee the operational performance of both restaurants in partnership with culinary leadership. Work closely with chefs and beverage leaders to ensure consistent execution and exceptional guest experiences. Monitor service standards, menu execution, beverage programs, purchasing, inventory, and cost controls. Ensure the public restaurant delivers a compelling hospitality experience while the members-only restaurant maintains an elevated sense of exclusivity, familiarity, and personalization. Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Ensure consistent standards across all food and beverage touchpoints throughout the club. Oversee the members lounge and its calendar of events, nightlife, cultural programming, and private gatherings. Partner with programming and events leadership to deliver experiences that feel distinctive, sophisticated, and aligned with the Harbour Club brand. Ensure events are operationally seamless from planning through execution. Develop and maintain strong relationships with entertainers, DJs, artists, event partners, vendors, and other creative collaborators. Understand the unique operational requirements of daytime hospitality, evening dining, late-night service, and special events. Maintain appropriate standards around security, guest flow, capacity, alcohol service, noise, and overall member experience. Help evolve the club's programming and nightlife offering based on member interests, cultural trends, and opportunities within the Miami market. Financial & Business Management Own the club’s operating performance and financial results in partnership with ownership and finance leadership. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, labor plans, and operating expenses. Monitor key performance indicators including revenue, labor, food and beverage costs, member utilization, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Identify opportunities for revenue growth while protecting the long-term integrity of the member experience. Establish and maintain disciplined purchasing, inventory, and cost-control systems. Analyze operational performance and implement improvements based on data, business trends, and member feedback. Balance the commercial objectives of the club with the importance of maintaining an elevated and authentic member experience. Brand, Membership & Community Act as a senior ambassador for Harbour Club within Miami’s hospitality, business, cultural, and social communities. Work closely with membership leadership to understand member preferences, behaviors, and expectations. Develop genuine relationships with members and help foster a strong sense of community within the club. Help shape the personality and culture of Harbour Club through thoughtful hospitality, service, and programming. Build relationships with local influencers, tastemakers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. Ensure every touchpoint—from arrival and reservations to dining, events, and departure—reflects the positioning and standards of Harbour Club. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a sophisticated hospitality leader with a proven track record operating high-end restaurants, private clubs, luxury hotels, lifestyle destinations, or similarly complex hospitality environments. Equally comfortable managing strategy from an office and jumping onto the floor during service. Experienced in high-volume, high-touch hospitality environments. Comfortable managing multiple concepts, departments, revenue streams, and dayparts simultaneously. Passionate about food, beverage, nightlife, culture, and the evolving hospitality landscape. Highly organized with an exceptional eye for detail. Calm, decisive, and solutions-oriented under pressure. Qualifications 8+ years of progressive hospitality management experience, with significant experience in a senior management or General Manager role. Experience in luxury hospitality, private clubs, premium restaurants, hotels, or lifestyle-driven hospitality brands. Demonstrated success leading large teams and multiple operational departments. Strong understanding of restaurant and hospitality financials, including P&L management, labor, purchasing, inventory, and cost controls. Experience managing events, nightlife, private functions, or programming is strongly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of the South Florida hospitality landscape and/or an established Miami network is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and during major events. A genuine passion for creating memorable experiences and building community.
