Extrusion Operator Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Extrusion Operator Experience Requirements 1–3 years of industrial manufacturing or machine operator experience required (extrusion experience preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment Ability to read tape measurements, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools Basic computer skills with experience entering production data and completing electronic documentation Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, including identifying numbers accurately Strong written and verbal communication skills, including email communication Ability to complete production documentation accurately on both paper and computer systems Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Extrusion Operator Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 35 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do As a Extrusion Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
