Customer Service Officer

In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing the entire order lifecycle from order entry through delivery while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You'll work closely with internal teams to resolve issues, coordinate logistics, communicate order updates, and provide proactive support that strengthens customer relationships. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, solutions-oriented, and confident handling challenging conversations while maintaining a professional, service-first approach. Responsibilities: Process and manage customer orders from entry through fulfillment. Review orders for accuracy and coordinate shipment readiness. Proactively communicate order updates, delays, and delivery changes to customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers. Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and order-related issues professionally. Coordinate deliveries with customers, carriers, sales teams, and warehouse personnel. Maintain customer pricing files and account information. Process daily billing activities, debits, and credits. Generate order, billing, and customer service reports. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless customer experience. Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office to manage customer information and order activity. Qualifications: 3+ years of customer service, customer operations, inside sales, or order management experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, distribution, or related environment preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience using SAP is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience handling customer escalations with professionalism and urgency.
