Step into an impactful role supporting students’ success as a contract School Psychologist for the 26/27 school year near Redwood City, CA! This full-time opportunity is perfect for professionals with a passion for working in educational settings, providing essential mental health and assessment services to school communities. You’ll play a crucial role from August 12, 2026, through June 3, 2027, working 35 hours per week with a caseload to be determined. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Valid School Psychologist certification in California (or eligibility) Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field Experience working within K-12 school environments Strong background conducting individual and group counseling for students Proficiency administering comprehensive psychoeducational assessments Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to develop supportive relationships with students, staff, and families Your Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct counseling services to students, fostering emotional and academic growth Assess and identify student needs through standardized testing and observational tools Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design interventions and supports Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations based on assessments Maintain confidential student records and prepare accurate, timely reports Serve as a resource to school staff on psychological and behavioral matters Support the positive climate of the school community through advocacy and education If you’re motivated to provide compassionate care and professional expertise in a dynamic educational setting, this contract offers a fulfilling way to make a difference in students’ lives.
