Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Onsite | 12-hour shifts on weekends in rotation; 8-hour shifts during the week in rotation possible

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub operative cases including trauma, orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac procedures in a high-volume OR environment
• Participate in weekend rotation and on-call assignments in accordance with unit scheduling requirements
• Fulfill perioperative call requirements, including weeknight and weekend call shifts on a rotating basis with a 45-minute response time
• Operate within a 23-suite OR performing approximately 75 cases per day
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses and surgical team members across all assigned shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Current BLS certification>
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Demonstrated experience circulating and/or scrubbing trauma, orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and exploratory laparotomy cases
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to meet call requirements: 3–4 weeknight call shifts and 1 weekend call shift per 4-week period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Scrubbing experience in addition to circulating
