Learn more at How you’ll make an impact: MRP is searching for a passionate and agile Finishing Operator I who consider themselves problem-solvers and excited by challenges and the opportunity to build something great with us. As Finishing Operator I in the Cartoner Department, you will be responsible for assisting the Operator in preparing for the product run and ensuring there are no gaps in product running through the machine. What will you do in this role? Feed product into the folder gluer machine. Maintain cleanliness of work area and empty waste bins. Strip excess material from product (based on job ticket information). Read job ticket to make sure the job is being processed correctly. Assemble and store shipping containers. Gather and pack product, per job specifications. Make cartons for packing product. What does it take to be successful in this role? Basic Requirements Possess an ability to work together as a Folder Gluer Team and embrace how your job impacts the whole team. You are the person “behind the scenes” making it happen. Passionate and positive “can do” attitude. Can accept feedback and use it to grow in your position. Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills. Physical requirements and work environment: Physical Demands Standing/Walking:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to8–12hours per shift). Lifting/Carrying:Regularly lift, push, pull or move materials up to50lbs. Repetitive Motions:Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling. Visual/Manual Requirements:Ability to read gauges, measure materials, and perform quality checks. Environmental Conditions Noise Level:Exposure to moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection provided. Safety Gear:Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves. Other Factors:Occasional exposure to dust, ink, or chemicals used in production. Schedule & Work Hours Full-time position; standard schedule is 4AM to 2PM, Monday-Thursday, with occasional overtime as needed.
