Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will serve in public schools to support student learning and growth. Working within the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one academic tutoring, reinforce classroom instruction, and help students build essential social-emotional skills. You will collaborate closely with teachers and a diverse team of AmeriCorps members to track student progress, create engaging learning activities, and promote an inclusive, supportive environment.
