Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures Tech Stroke Intervention
Schedule: 8-hour days, 08:3017:00, MonFri
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience required
- Previous stroke-certified hospital experience preferred
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience in Interventional Radiology & Special Procedures
- Proficiency in fluoroscopy operation
- Experience with PACS use and equipment maintenance
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare for and assist in specialized interventional radiology procedures
- Maintain sterile field and ensure infection control protocols are followed
- Set up and operate necessary equipment during procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and provide care as necessary during interventions
- Participate in rapid response/code teams as needed
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation is 40 hours; attendance is mandatory to start
- No RTO after booking is allowed; cancellations may occur due to call-offs or additional RTO requests
- Flu vaccine is required; medical/religious exemptions allowed
- Candidates must complete pre-start modules prior to start date
