Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (with a mandatory 30-minute lunch break)

The Registered Nurse will hold shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care to patients in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel experience.
• Current licenses and certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Stroke Certification.
• Nursing licensure in the relevant state.
