Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 10-12 days per month; 3 clinic days per week (1/3 being in-office procedure days), averaging 2 days for OR block time; clinic hours Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm; weekend and weekday availability preferred; 24-hour call (0700-0700), approximately 3-4 call days per month
• Job Setting: Outpatient clinic and surgical/OR setting; admissions required; hospital/surgery center privileges required
• Types of Cases:
  • General Adult Urology (Required)
  • Laparoscopic Surgeries (Required)
  • Ureteroscopy (Required)
  • Prostatectomy (Required)
  • Robotic Surgery (Required)
  • Renal and Bladder Ultrasound (Required)
  • TRUS Biopsies (Required)
  • Incontinence Procedures (Required)
  • Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy - ESWL (Required)
  • Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (Preferred)
  • Radical Cystectomy w/Ileo-Loop Conduit (Preferred)
  • Radical Prostatectomy (Preferred)
  • Nephrectomy (Preferred)
  • Renal and Bladder Ultrasound w/Biopsy (Preferred)
  • In-office procedures: Cystoscopies, Fusion Biopsies, Bladder Biopsy, UDS Testing
• Call: In-house call; 30-minute response time required; locum is the only Urology provider on call with APP back-up support; Call-back rate approximately 90%; estimated 5-6 phone consults, 3-4 patients seen, and 2-3 admissions per call shift
• EMR: Epic

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications:
  • ABLS (Required)
  • ACLS (Required)
  • BLS (Required)
  • PALS (Required)
  • Fellowship (Required - minimum 2 years) Preferred
• Licensure: Must be licensed in Washington State or IMLC
