SECRETARY III - BILINGUAL (EXPANDED LEARNING DEPARTMENT)

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district.


The Secretary III-Bilingual in the ELO Department will:

• Perform difficult and varied typing requiring independent judgment and discretion.
• Serve as an aide to a District administrator by performing administrative and technical duties.
• Assist in coordinating a broad range of functions and programs throughout the District.
• Monitor budget of a specialized department
• Perform other related work as required.

DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

• LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 12-Month Employee Calendar
• WORK SITE: Expanded Learning Department
• WORK SCHEDULE: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• BENEFITS: Benefits package includes, Health and Welfare, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 16 paid holidays a year).
• REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; three (3) years of responsible office experience; supplemented by additional training in office organization and secretarial skills, preferably including experience in a school district; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Must be able to type 45 net words per minute; BILINGUAL REQUIRED: must be able to speak, read and write in Spanish.
• LICENSE/CERTIFICATE: Typing Certificate, dated within the last six (6) months. NO ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED. (Required on or before June 22, 2026).
• REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS (PDF): Letter of Recommendation - 1 (within the last year and preferably from most recent employer)
  Resume indicating at least three (3) years of responsible office experience in a school district.
  
  
  Typing Certificate with verification of completion (dated within the last six (6) months) of typing assessment with a corrected net speed of 45 words per minute. NO ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES ARE ACCEPTED. (Required on or before June 22, 2026.)
