This role will work in office approximately 25 hours per week, five days per week, generally during core business hours (such as 10:00 am to 3:00 pm), with flexibility around the exact schedule. This role will work closely with Managers and Partners and be responsible for all aspects of billing including but not limited to the accurate and timely generation of monthly billing and collections.Duties and Responsibilities:Learning Practice timekeeping and billing softwareInput of new client informationEnsure monthly billing is completed by firm deadlineSend billing invoices to clientsSend follow-up statements to clientsUpdate and maintain client informationPost chargeable expensesPost daily accounts receivable paymentsResearch and respond to client inquiries regarding billing issues and problemsCoordinate and communicate internally with professional staff membersQualifications:Relevant billing experience in a professional services environment is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsEnthusiastic sense of responsibilityProfessional demeanor and good listening skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environmentAnalytical thinking, with problem-solving ability and exceptional attention to detailKnowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to learn specific software programs used by our firmMaintain regular and reliable attendanceEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Undergrad college degree or some college level courses or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredThe compensation range for this role is $21 - $23 per hour.
