Location: Dallas, TX 75247
Pay: $25.00$34.00 per hour (based on experience) | Weekly Pay
Schedule: MondayFriday | 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

Openwork is hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Equipment Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing facility in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting industrial equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping production running efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance on sheet metal fabrication equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Inspect machinery for wear, damage, and safety concerns
• Maintain maintenance logs and repair records
• Monitor and organize maintenance tools and spare parts inventory
• Recommend equipment improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
• Train machine operators on basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Work closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime
• Coordinate with equipment vendors for specialized repairs and replacement parts
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical or vocational maintenance training preferred
• 24+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience
• Experience in a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Ability to read electrical schematics, machinery manuals, and mechanical drawings
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial equipment systems preferred
• Ability to lift equipment and remain active throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving skills
