About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12 shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all hospital units and patient populations, including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Perform and support respiratory care in an acute care setting within a 154-bed facility offering orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency department, and behavioral health
• Float throughout the hospital as needed to meet departmental staffing needs
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Cover scheduled night shifts as part of a team providing 24-hour, 7-day-a-week respiratory department coverage

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Associate's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy required
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
• Comfortable floating across multiple units and adapting to varied patient populations
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
