Job Description
We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Full-Time Graphic Designer with a deep understanding of prepress and production workflows to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-impact visual designs and preparing files specifically for large format print production (including banners, vehicle wraps, trade show displays, and architectural signage). You will bridge the gap between creative concept and flawless physical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and set up complex layouts for large format products (banners, signage, point-of-purchase displays, window graphics, and vehicle wraps).
- Review, pre-flight, and troubleshoot client-submitted artwork to ensure accurate resolution, color profiles, bleed, and crop settings.
- Build, clean up, and scale vector graphics and technical templates using Adobe Illustrator .
- Perform high-end photo manipulation, color correction, and raster asset prep using Adobe Photoshop .
- Scale and panel artwork accurately for massive physical dimensions without sacrificing image quality or resolution.
- Coordinate with the production team to select proper materials, substrates, and finishing methods (grommets, laminations, hem lines).
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop . (Experience with Acrobat Pro, Enfocus PitStop, or RIP software like Onyx/Fiery is a massive plus).
- Print Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of large format printing constraints, including bleed, trim, safe zones, resolution guidelines (DPI vs. PPI), and CMYK/Pantone color matching .
- Portfolio: A strong digital portfolio showcasing layout design, typography, and large-scale print or signage projects.
- Experience: [2+] years of graphic design experience, ideally within a commercial print shop or signage company.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional precision regarding measurements, scale, fractions, and mechanical specifications.
