Senior Project Manager, Growth and DevelopmentWe're hiring a Senior Project Manager, Growth and Development, to lead strategic initiatives and project management for new club openings, renovations, acquisitions, and program launches. You'll serve as a key cross-functional partner, bringing together construction, design, equipment, marketing, operations, finance, HR, and other teams to ensure every launch is on time, on budget, and fully member-ready from day one.What You'll Do:Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of new club openings, renovations, and special projectsBuild and manage launch readiness plans, including timelines, milestones, checklists, dependencies, and go/no-go criteriaCoordinate readiness across operations, staffing, training, equipment, technology, marketing, and member experienceServe as the central point of contact across departments, keeping teams aligned with construction timelines and launch datesIdentify risks and roadblocks, drive solutions, and keep projects moving forwardEstablish and track KPIs throughout pre-launch, opening, and post-launch stabilizationPartner with the equipment team on assortment, placement, and layouts to support program delivery and member experienceEvaluate post-launch performance, identify gaps, and continuously improve launch processes and playbooksDevelop relationships with corporate partners to support the launch of corporate membership programsWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field10+ years of management experience within the health club, retail, or a similar industry, with a focus on new location or program launchesProven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing prioritiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience designing and improving processesAbility to anticipate issues, evaluate tradeoffs, and balance business needs with project constraintsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office, Asana, and SmartsheetFlexibility to adapt work hours to meet the needs of the role, including varied hours as club openings and projects demandsStrong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.Sense of humor!What Makes You Successful:Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountabilityComfortably working in an entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity and competing prioritiesSkilled at influencing and aligning teams across functionsProactive in identifying risks and solving problems before they impact launch timelinesAble to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partnersFlexible and willing to adapt as business and project needs evolveTravel & Work Environment:This position offers flexibility for remote work but requires frequent travel of up to 50% to new club locations to support critical phases of club launches and acquisitions.
